How do I make a booking?
The best way is to send a message grdtb2@gmail.com with what you are after (including reference pictures), placement and rough size. It should take 3~5 days for me to get back to you. I don't deal with bookings via Instagram as any reaction to stories will push your message down making it hard to track.
Do you do email or phone consultations for people living in other states?
I don't do phone consultations due to the volume of clients. I need the history of information exchanged available so I can read back as I create. Email consultation is fine for interstate clients.
Will you send me my design beforehand?
The short answer is no. What I've learned is that any alteration is much easily communicated in person. I allow extra time in your appointment for us to take our time and discuss the design with no extra cost.
Do you do cover ups?
A consultation is essential to align expectations and possibilities. I have no problems with doing cover ups but every case is unique so we need special assessment before saying yes or no.
How much do you charge per hour?
I don't price my projects hourly. My pricing takes into account the area, complexity and size. I usually work with a price range so we are less restricted if there's any last minute changes however I do have a flat day rate that I apply for multi-day projects.
What if I need to cancel or postpone my appointment?
I will keep your deposit in the system for 12 months if you give me at least 7 days notification. If an emergency happens we can discuss options. In case of no-show the deposit is forfeited no questions asked.
What if my tattoo needs a touch up?
I offer a free touch up appointment within 3 months after of your original booking. This does not cover any additions or changes to the original design and a photo of the area to be fixed needs to be sent to me before making the booking. If you want to book after 3 months my minimum charge will apply to cover the use of material.
Do you sell your tattoo designs?
Absolutely not. I work very hard to make my work unique and selling it for other artists to tattoo defeats the purpose of all the effort I put in my creation. I understand that travelling to get tattooed is not a possibility to everyone but Australia is worth visiting anyway :)
How long is the wait to get a tattoo from you?
I try my very best to select the projects I take on so I don't flood my schedule with tattoos that are not in sync with I want to do artistically. This helps me keep the wait between 1 and 2 months tops.
Do you take Afterpay?
No but I do accept INKMONEY. If you need help funding that big project they are the easiest shortcut to it.
